Alongside emergency relief and medical care, Karama works on long-term community cohesion and awareness.
Community programs
These include strengthening family cohesion, reducing unemployment, drug-awareness and addiction prevention, countering extremist ideas, capacity building, promoting peaceful coexistence, and mental-health support.
The Waai Center
The Waai Center is Karama’s awareness and training center, working to strengthen community awareness and humanitarian values, aiming to restore Sudan’s social fabric and build a better, socially healed Sudan. This is one of Karama’s newest programs.
