There are several ways to stand with Sudan through Karama: membership, volunteering, institutional partnership, or a direct donation.
Membership
Karama is open to anyone who wants to formally join the organization and help develop its work. The membership form asks for your basic details, plus your occupation, academic qualification and specialization, and a chance to share your ideas about the organization’s work. Applications are reviewed by the executive office.
Volunteering
Karama relies on volunteer teams for its field and administrative programs – from relief work (community kitchens, mobile clinics) to organizational support. To volunteer, contact us directly to find out current needs.
Institutional partnership
Karama works with partner institutions, such as its agreement with the Al-Daw Hajooj health centre for a physiotherapy centre in Omdurman, its agreement with the Turkish Bar Association and the International Union of Jurists on human rights, and field coordination with the Humanitarian Aid Commission (HAC) on the community-kitchen program. If your institution is interested in a similar partnership, we welcome the conversation.
Donating
Donations directly support Karama’s existing programs: daily meals via the community kitchens, treatment for civilian war casualties, and human-rights documentation work.
