As part of monitoring conditions for displaced people from Darfur, Al-Effad camp in Al-Dabbah received a visit from the High Committee for Displaced Affairs, to assess humanitarian and service conditions inside the camp.

The visit included a review of the work of Karama Takaya operating inside the camp, a step that represents external institutional recognition of the continuity of service the organization provides to displaced people from Darfur.
