If you or someone you know experienced a violation during the war in Sudan, or you’re looking for a body documenting these violations and pursuing justice, this is Karama’s human-rights work.
A reporting platform
Karama built an online platform to receive reports of violations against civilians during the war, and has received over 4,722 complaints so far. You can submit a report in full confidence.
Rights partnerships
Karama produces monthly reports on these violations, shared with rights bodies including the UN Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights, the Turkish Bar Association, and the International Union of Jurists, through an agreement facilitated by the Sudanese Consulate General in Istanbul.
Pursuing justice
Karama coordinates with legal offices to pursue those responsible for violations, and aims to bring cases before local, regional and international courts, seeking compensation through legal means.
